Reskins earn fair suspicion, so here is the honest inventory:

• Presentation: snow drifts across the temple, the soundtrack picks up sleigh bells, and the low gems become tree baubles. Zeus keeps his job. It is a genuinely pretty version of the game in December and mildly absurd in July.
• Reduced-build ladder: the default stays 96.50%, but the alternative builds casinos can license are 95.00% and 94.00%, slightly different figures than the standard edition's 95.51% and 94.50%. The info-screen check works identically.
• Top-end tuning: Pragmatic's published materials note the probability of the 15,000x maximum differs from the standard 1000 edition. The cap itself, the orb range, the paytable, the 15-spin bonus, and the meter mechanic are all identical.

What did NOT change matters more: this is not a new game, and skills or preferences formed on the standard edition transfer completely. If you are choosing between them, pick by art preference; the full family comparison puts every version side by side.

Our take after sessions on both: the Xmas edition is the same excellent, punishing game wearing a seasonal sweater. The tumbles chain identically, the orb sums produce the same arithmetic drama, and the free spins meter is the event it always was. Nothing about the retuned max-win odds is perceptible at human sample sizes; 15,000x is a lottery event in both editions, as the max win math makes clear.

Two practical notes. First, availability: some casinos rotate the Xmas edition out of their lobby off-season, while the four we test kept it live year-round at review time. Second, the build check matters slightly more here, because the worst licensed Xmas build (94.00%) is half a point below the worst standard build; ten seconds on the info screen settles it.
